Land Conservation isn’t just about preserving property, it is about inspiring communities to connect with natural resources we all share. The Lyme Land Conservation Trust of Lyme, CT was started by just a handful of concerned members of the Lyme community that was not immediately embraced by their neighbors. However, now they have managed to preserve about half of the town itself for future generations while simultaneously engaging hundreds of families to become active members in this conservation effort.
