What if there were a place where people could go to practice giving, where people could directly experience the magic that occurs when one person helps another? There is such a place in North Carolina where the volunteers "leave their egos outside the door" to provide hospice care for the terminally ill, respite care, and chronic pain care services -- free of charge with no insurance or government aid whatsoever.
